Bad news: Current hard drive continues to randomly and infuriatingly freeze and/or refuse to run the majority of the programs on my computer + I can't find my Vista install disc. orz

Shoot guys, what does it mean when every time you try to use a program on your computer it stops responding? AIM has been affected, and Winamp, and NO$GBA, and also on occasion firefox.

So in the 'makes me feel good about being alive' category of news, we have:

Today, driving home from church with my dad and little brother, we passed this big old turtle who was flipped on his back flailing in the middle of the road. Of course, we slowed down, and a few yards ahead my dad turned into a driveway with the intention of jogging back and rescuing the turtle from a splattery fate.

As he turned to check the traffic, though, we realized that another car had come up behind us. They, too, slowed, and turned into a closer driveway.

As it turns out, not only did we stop, but so did they (with the same idea) and not only that, but the people in the house of the driveway directly in front of the turtle's dilemma noticed traffic slowing and came outside to see what was the matter, and then they went out to help too.

So, long story short, the turtle was removed from the road and turned right-side-up in the woods on the other side. And I'm sure we all left feeling better about life in general.

So normally on Mondays and Wednesdays, I work hard for the bacon and whatnot for a few hours after classes are over, and then I come back to the dorm to fetch Mousey and we go to dinner together.
